Welcome to the Crown Colony Chapter website. I am proud to serve as your Chapter President and to serve with a distinguished slate of officers. We were chartered in April, 2011 in Virginia, thereby joining the National Society Colonial Daughters of the Seventeenth Century, which was organized in Brooklyn, New York in May, 1896. Our Organizing Honorary President was Sharon K. Stine. The objects of this Society “shall be patriotic, educational, philanthropic, and historical; to preserve the memory of the founders of this nation; to commemorate historical incidents of the colonial period; to collect and preserve colonial relics and documents; and to erect tablets at places of historical interest relating to that period.” Please browse through the various entries on the right side of this website to learn more about us. In particular, please see Our History, which features specific information about our chapter as well as information about our first administration. We hope you will join us. Please send an Email through our Webmaster if you are interested.
