Welcome to the Crown Colony Chapter website. We were chartered in April, 2011 in Virginia, thereby joining the National Society Colonial Daughters of the Seventeenth Century, which was organized in Brooklyn, New York in May, 1896.  Our Organizing Honorary President was Sharon K. Stine.

The objects of this Society “shall be patriotic, educational, philanthropic, and historical; to preserve the memory of the founders of this nation; to commemorate historical incidents of the colonial period; to collect and preserve colonial relics and documents; and to erect tablets at places of historical interest relating to that period.”
